Saint David's YOUTH!
...A Vital Part of the Body
Open to all 7th – 12th graders, the youth community gathers from 10:15 ‘til about 11:00 on Sunday mornings in the Parish House (office). Time is spent exploring matters of Self, Spirituality, and Society and eating snacks. Adult leaders help set the tone. All questions fair - all comments confidential. Our goal: a safe, caring, and fun environment to explore important matters of life and of the Christian faith. One Sunday of the month, we join together for an Outreach activity focused on serving those in need in our community. We also dedicate one Sunday morning each month to social time together for fellowship and planning for activities outside the church.
Several times a year we plan a fun activity – it’s a good excuse to get out of the house and get together again. Youth planned – youth approved. Stuff like ski trips, bowling, movie night (at the church or a local theater), ice skating, paint ball, laser tag, preaching classes (just kidding!!)
In-house events are open to anyone in the right age range (see above) to come to. To go on the “away” events, you must also have a permission form for the event filled out and signed by a parent and have a current year’s medical release form on file. This is non-negotiable!!
