Youth & Family
Youth Group Gatherings
EYC: First Wednesday of the month: 6-8pm (Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 2)
Rite13 [grades 6-8]: 2nd Sundays, 9-10am (Oct 11, Nov 8, Dec 13)
J2A [grades 9-12]: 3rd Sundays, 9-10am (Oct 18, Nov 15, Dec 20)
EYC is where St. David’s young people find their people. We gather to share meals, play, ask big questions, and grow in faith alongside a caring church community.
Rite 13 is a rite-of-passage program for young people around age 13 [grades 6-8]. Over the course of the program, participants explore who they are, what they believe, and how they’re called to live in community. They are welcomed into this next season of life with the support of the whole church.
Journey to Adulthood (J2A) is for high schoolers [grades 9-12]. Through small-group conversation, service, retreats, and time with adult mentors, teens wrestle with real questions about faith, identity, and purpose as they grow toward adulthood. It’s a space to be honest, to be known, and to belong.
Family Night
One of the most fun things we do are our monthly Family Nights. They are always on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. We make dinner for your family, babysitters play with the littlest kids, older kids have choir practice, and the adults have time to chat with other parents.
Come as you are and stay as long as you'd like. Please RSVP with an email to Lizzie Polk (or just come even if you forget to RSVP)!
Sunday Nursery
Nursery for babies and toddlers is available beginning at 10 AM every Sunday morning downstairs in the undercroft, and is now available at the 5 PM Sunday evening services as well!
Children's Chapel and Sunday School
Children's Chapel begins at 10 AM every 2nd - 5th Sunday downstairs. Sunday School for ages Pre-K - 6th grade begins immediately afterwards at 10:15. Children will return to join their parents in worship in the nave at the passing of the peace.
First Sunday
On the first Sunday of every month, our principal Eucharist at 10:15 is geared entirely towards children with a children's homily, children's choir, youth readers, youth acolytes, and youth ushers. It's a beautiful way to celebrate youth, families, and intergenerational ministry at St. David's. First Sunday Coffee Hour is also special because we have waffles (with whipped cream!).
